I'm Dave, one half of the Skegness Goldwing Riders team. Welcome to my page.

I have set up this site to share stories of our adventures on the Goldwing as I travel to "bike rallies", "Wing Dings", "bike nights" and "Light Parades" with my wonderful partner and chief navigator Angie.

I have been riding motorbikes for about 30 years and those bikes include TZR125, FZ600R, CBR600F, GSXR750J slingshot, ZXR750, ZXR900 ninja, 2 X YZF1000R, GSX1300R Hayabusa (generation 1) and GSX1300R Hayabusa (generation 2).

We purchased a Honda Goldwing GL1800ABS and Squire D18 trailer and travel to as many rallies and bike events as time allows us. We purchased a small tent and camping gear and attended a couple of rallies in 2023. Having decided we were too old to crawl around inside a small 2 person dome tent we invested in a full height 4 berth tent and enjoyed our camping a lot more in 2024.

Unfortunately our GL1800ABS developed a coolant leak and the left hand fork seal began leaking oil so we have said goodbye to our beloved first wing and purchased a 2018 GL1800 "Tour" DCT. Look out for our blog updates as we get to know our new ride and look forward to riding many more miles on our Goldwing.

The 2023 biking season is finally upon us and we are making the most of the good weather by attending ride outs and rallies as often as we can. Check out our blog for details of our adventures.
