About our Squire D18 Trailer.

We purchased our Squire D18 trailer in 2017 from a member of GWOCGB. To date it has transported all of our camping gear to numerous "Wing Dings" and rallies.

When towing this trailer other than feeling "pushed" slightly when travelling down inclines we can barely tell we are towing it. The GL1800 has massive amounts of torque  and there is no trailer weave.

Dave has recently fitted L.E.D. side marker lights and with clever use of 2 x 5 pin relays they are wired to be illuminated with the tail lights but to flash when indicating as shown in the above video. Feel free to contact us and we will share details of wiring required.

After two years of searching we  have found a very rare "sandwhich extension" which fits between the trailer base and lid thus increasing the capacity of the trailer enormously.  We have now taken delivery and fitted this to our trailer as shown in the photo below. Capacity of our trailer is increased massively.

Our trailer tends to look like a tardis when we arrive at rallies and begin to set up camp to the amazment of our fellow rally visitors. We usually take a groundsheet,  4 birth tent, double air matress and pump, double sleeping bag, gas bottle, 2 ring camp cooker, 1 ring camp cooker for use outside, 4 replacement gas cannisters, 2 tables, 2 chairs, 2 inflatable chairs, 12 volt cool chiller box with food and beer, clothes, knives, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, cups, kettle, portable radio, 2 solar chargers for phones and helmet intercoms and of course a set of pink flashing L.E.D. lights which we attach to our tent so we can find it in the dark after we have consumed a few drinks.

Angie is partial to sampling a few pints of St Miguel when attending rallies.
